Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, a controversial Nigerian street-hop artiste, has explained his reasons for wanting to return to school despite his fame and success.

The “Zazuu Zeh” crooner made this known in a video shared on his Instagram page, where he spoke passionately about the value of education and how it can help him manage his growing career more effectively.

Portable said that returning to school would not only improve his professionalism but also set a positive example for his children.

Education for Growth and Good Example

Portable revealed that he already holds an Ordinary National Diploma (OND) from Kwara State Polytechnic but never collected his certificate after completing the programme.

He stated that his decision to continue his studies was inspired by his desire to grow intellectually and earn respect in society.

According to him, despite his fame, education remains important for personal development and better communication within the industry.

In his words: “I wan go back to school. I want to finish my education. I dey sponsor people’s children and my own children too. I don’t want my children to be mocked that their father is illiterate.

“I wan go back to school so that I will be able to manage my music career better, and it will also help in my dealings with people.”
