The Indomitable Lions of Cameroon have suffered two major injury setbacks ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup playoffs, NEWSUNPLUG reports.

Napoli midfielder Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa and Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting have both left the team’s camp in Rabat, Morocco, after sustaining injuries in training.

Zambo Anguissa pulled out of Tuesday’s training session with a hamstring injury, while Choupo-Moting suffered a knee sprain.

First-choice goalkeeper Andre Onana is also nursing an ankle injury.

Cameroon will face the Leopards of the Democratic Republic of Congo at the Barid Stadium in Rabat on Thursday night.

The winner will meet either Nigeria or Gabon in the final at the Prince Héritier Moulay El Hassan Stadium on Sunday.
