DJ Cuppy, born Florence Otedola, has shared a heartfelt reflection on gratitude and life as she marked her 33rd birthday with intimate celebrations.
The singer and disc jockey, who is the daughter of billionaire businessman Femi Otedola, said she originally expected her birthday to feel like any other day and was simply grateful for the gift of life. Instead, she ended up surrounded by close friends in a small gathering that left her feeling deeply appreciated.
Sharing photos from the celebration, Cuppy wrote: “Thank you to everyone who sent birthday love. God keeps pouring so much grace into my life even when I don’t deserve it, and I’m just overwhelmed with gratitude. #CuppyDay.”
Before the mini-party, she posted playful moments with her dogs, Funfun and Dudu, announcing that she had “unlocked level 33.”
Cuppy also touched on the subject of privilege, admitting that she didn’t fully understand how privileged her upbringing was until adulthood. She noted that many things she once saw as normal were aspirations for countless others.
