Strasburg star, Emanuel Emegha, will no longer play for Nigeria.
This is because the 22-year-old striker has now played a cap-tying match for the Netherlands.
Emegha, who will join Chelsea next summer, was a late substitute in Netherlands’ FIFA World Cup qualifying game against Poland in Warsaw on Friday night.
The Strasbourg captain, who wore the number 9 shirt, came on the 87th minute of the game to help the Dutch fight for all three points.
The appearance meant that the striker is no longer eligible to play for his mother’s country, Nigeria.
The player once made it clear he was sticking with the Dutch national team despite being approached by the Nigeria Football Federation.
