Bayern Munich striker, Harry Kane, has admitted he might not win the Ballon d’Or if he doesn’t lift the Champions League and World Cup.
Kane stated this in a interview with the UK Mirror.
According to the England captain, the same applies to Manchester City’s Erling Haaland.
I could score 100 goals this season but if I don’t win the Champions League or the World Cup, you’re probably not going to win the Ballon d’Or.
“It’s the same with Haaland, with any player. You have to be winning those major trophies.”
Kane is expected to be one of the favourites to win the Ballon d’Or next year.
The 30-year-old has started this season in stunning fashion and already has 13 Bundesliga goals and five in the Champions League.
The Three Lions also qualified for the 2026 World Cup, winning all their qualifiers without conceding any goal.
