German football legend Lothar Matthaus has chosen Lionel Messi over Cristiano Ronaldo.
Matthaus said he is a fan of Messi because of his style of football. He also admitted that Messi is a different type of player compared to Ronaldo.
“I don’t like to say that Messi is better than [Cristiano] Ronaldo. It is very difficult because there are different kinds of players.
Ronaldo is more about the power and physicality. Messi is more like the smartest guy; he is more about the entertainment.
“I am a fan of Messi because of his style of football,” Matthaus said (via Times of India).
