Issac Fayose, the younger sibling of former Ekiti State governor Ayodele Fayose, has called on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to step down immediately.

In a video that quickly gained traction on social media, Fayose addressed the president directly, insisting that Nigeria requires a younger leader at this critical time.

During the roughly three-minute clip, he urged President Tinubu to resign if he feels incapable of effectively governing the country. He began his message by stating, “This message is for my President, President Tinubu. I believe it is time for you to resign.”

Fayose criticized the president’s apparent composure despite widespread killings, insecurity, and growing economic hardships across the nation. He questioned, “How can you feel at ease leading a nation facing such failures? How can you remain calm amidst rising insecurity?”

He also condemned the recent abduction of 25 schoolgirls in Kebbi State and the murder of the school’s vice principal. Additionally, he expressed concern over the increasing number of Nigerian soldiers losing their lives to terrorist and bandit attacks, questioning how the president maintains calm in the face of these ongoing tragedies.

Concluding his message, Fayose insisted that President Tinubu resign and allow a younger leader to take charge of the country.
