Nigerian singer David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, recently marked his 33rd birthday with a grand celebration.
The star was celebrated by his wife, Chioma, alongside family and friends in Atlanta, United States. The event saw the presence of his uncle, Governor Ademola Adeleke, his elder sister Sharon, his father Adedeji Adeleke, cousins, and several other close relatives.
During the celebration, Davido reflected on his musical journey, noting that he released his first song at the age of 17. He described this year as one of the most memorable of his life, highlighting his marriage to Chioma, the arrival of their children, and his ongoing work on a new album.
“I released my first song when I was 17, and now I’m 33. This year has been incredible I married the most beautiful woman, and we welcomed our children,” Davido said.
The singer’s birthday festivities were held at Atlanta’s State Farm Arena, a 21,000-seat venue, and the event was reportedly sold out.
