Popular social media activist VeryDarkMan has openly criticized General Abdulmalik Bulama Biu over Nigeria’s worsening insecurity and his handling of Boko Haram insurgents.

The criticism follows General Bulama’s recent statement advocating for the repentance and rehabilitation of Boko Haram members, urging them to surrender and reintegrate into society.

In response, VeryDarkMan condemned the general’s approach, accusing him of being overly lenient toward criminals and calling for stronger leadership. He stated:

“Dear General Abdulmalik Bulama Biu, you are a general, not a pastor. It’s clear why these terrorists keep gaining ground leaders like you, with the authority and resources to act, are showing sympathy. You should step down because you are failing to fulfill your duties. This is shameful.”

The video of his remarks quickly circulated online, igniting heated debates, with many Nigerians siding with the activist, criticizing what they see as weak military leadership.

VeryDarkMan’s outspoken message reflects widespread frustration over escalating insecurity and perceived inaction by military authorities. His comments come as public concern grows over repeated attacks across multiple regions, highlighting the urgent need for stronger strategies and accountability to address the nation’s security challenges.
