Galatasaray Club President, Dursun Özbek has suggested that striker Victor Osimhen will play again for the club in December.

Özbek spoke on HT Spor broadcast while providing the latest update on the 26-year-old Nigerian.

Osimhen is currently recovery from an injury he sustained while on international duty with Nigeria’s Super Eagles.

However, according to Özbek, Osimhen will have a recovery period of about two weeks, meaning the former Napoli man will miss Galatasaray’s matches against Gençlerbirliği in the Turkish Super Lig and Union Saint-Gilloise in the UEFA Champions League.

Osimhen is expected to be in action for Galatasaray when they face Fernabahce on Monday 1, December, 2026.

“Osimhen will have a recovery period of approximately two weeks,” Özbek said (via Habersarikirmizi).

“All our efforts are to ensure that he is ready for the Fenerbahçe match. Our doctors are working in that direction.”
