Niger Tornadoes technical adviser, Majin Mohammed, has accepted in good faith his team’s defeat to Rangers.
Kenechukwu Agu’s strike earned the former Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL champions maximum points against Niger Tornadoes at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium on Sunday.
Mohammed said they would put the defeat behind them and focus on their next league game.
Niger Tornadoes will face defending champions Remo Stars at the Bako Kontagora Stadium in Minna this weekend.
“We came with a game plan and it nearly worked for us but it turned out the other way, that’s football for you, it’s either you win, draw or lose,” Mohammed stated in a post-match interview.
“We will put the defeat behind us, go back home and plan on how to get our own three points at home.”
