Nasarawa Amazons have appointed Nwoha Confidence as their new captain for the 2025–26 Nigeria Women Football League, NWFL, season.
The Lafia-based side confirmed Confidence as the team’s new leader on Wednesday. She will be assisted by Ohaegbulem Oluchi.
Nasarawa Amazons will be aiming to improve on their performance from last season, when Chris Danjuma’s side finished second behind Bayelsa Queens.
They will begin their new campaign against Delta Queens in their opening fixture at the Lafia City Stadium on Wednesday.
