Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca has revealed that Cole Palmer is ready to start against Arsenal on Sunday.
Palmer has not played for the Blues in over two months.
The 23-year-old was previously ruled out of the Barcelona and Arsenal games with a broken toe, but it appears the England midfielder has recovered enough to feature in the London derby.
“He is available for both [to start and to play],” Maresca said.
“There are no other concerns, Dario Essugo took part in the session this morning, so good news for both of them.”
Chelsea have won 10 of the 13 matches Palmer has missed, but defeats by Brighton and Sunderland leave them trailing Premier League leaders Arsenal by six points ahead of this weekend’s top-of-the-table meeting.
