By the end of this weekend, exactly one-third of the Premier League season would have been played.

The top-of-the-table clash between Chelsea and Arsenal at Stamford Bridge, is obviously the fixture everyone is looking forward to.

The game will determine if Mikel Arteta’s men are running away with the title or the Blues are serious contenders.

But, before then, there will be other exciting matches.

Which ones can we expect upsets?

1. Man City vs Leeds: Last weekend, Manchester City missed the chance to keep pace with leaders, after they lost 2-1 at Newcastle United. This time around, they will be home against hot-and-cold Leeds United. But here’s the thing: when Erling Haaland doesn’t score, City are essentially a basic team and likely to drop points.

2. Tottenham vs Fulham: Thomas Frank’s men will be looking to bounce back from a 4-1 thrashing in the North London Derby and a 5-3 defeat to PSG in the Champions League. But they host a tricky Fulham next and their home form has been rather poor this campaign. It is very possible they drop points again.

3. Crystal Palace vs Man Utd: One of the most embarrassing results you’ll see this season, was Manchester United losing 1-0 to Everton, who were reduced to 10 men within the opening 15 minutes. Ruben Amorim’s men looked every toothless and could have played until midnight without scoring. They will face the second-best defence in the league at Selhurst Park next.

4. West Ham vs Liverpool: Arne Slot might have walked the league in his debut season. But he is receiving a proper welcome to the Premier League this term. As it stands, Liverpool have lost nine out of 12 matches, ahead of their trip to West Ham. The Hammers are beginning to find their feet under Nuno Espirito Santo and this could be yet another miserable game for the champions.
