Manchester United manager, Ruben Amorim, has insisted “everything is fine” with Bruno Fernandes.
Amorim has played down fears that Fernandes may have picked up an injury during their 2-1 win over Crystal Palace on Sunday.
Palace opened the scoring through a Jean-Philippe Mateta penalty in the first half.
But the Red Devils turned the game around after the break, thanks to goals from Joshua Zirkzee and Mason Mount.
Fernandes, who assisted the two United’s goals, hit the deck after a heavy kick in the dying moments.
It sparked concerns among fans ahead of the next game against West Ham, as he was seen speaking at length with members of United’s coaching staff.
But Amorim told TNT Sports: “It was a kick.
“I was shouting at him, we made a substitution in the end.
“He needed to talk to the bench but he said it was just a kick so everything is okay.”
