Former Arsenal manager, Arsene Wenger has claimed that the Gunners are currently the best club in the world.
Arsenal are currently leading both the Premier League and the UEFA Champions League tables.
Mikel Arteta’s side are considered the favourite to win both titles this season.
Speaking during a recent interview with CNN in Doha, the Frenchman was asked about his assessment of Arsenal this term.
Wenger said (via HITC): “They [Arsenal] don’t need me, but I’m a big supporter.
“Of course. They are the best team at the moment,” he added.
Wenger guided Arsenal to three Premier League titles during his time at the Emirates Stadium.
But the 76-year-old, who left Arsenal in 2018, failed to win the UEFA Champions League with the Premier League North London club.
