Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing Sunday has sparked a conversation on social media after claiming to own multiple, unreleased iPhone models while explaining why she used a specific model during a recent podcast appearance.
The actress stated that she deliberately chose to use the “iPhone 16 Pro Max” to call her son on the show to manage public perception, suggesting that using the latest model would lead to criticism.
Nkechi Blessing specifically claimed to possess three consecutive iPhone models, two of which have not yet been released to the public:
“I used iPhone 16 pro max to call my son on the podcast because if I had used my iPhone 17, people will say it’s XR or I’m showing off, I have iPhone 15,16 and 17 altogether.”
Her statement has generated widespread reactions, with many social media users questioning the authenticity of her claim to own the iPhone 16 and 17, while others joked about her attempts to avoid “showing off” expensive gadgets.
