Officials reportedly informed Verydarkman that multiple intercepted calls suggested assassins were targeting him.
When he inquired about the individuals behind the threats, authorities did not disclose any names, explaining that it involved a group rather than a single person. Despite the warnings, Verydarkman eventually got his passport back and turned down any security detail.
“They asked me again, ‘Who do you want for protection during this time the police, the army, or the DSS?’ I told them no one. I will never rely on security. If my time comes, it comes. If I leave today, I’m at peace,” he said.
His revelation has sparked reactions online. One social media user wrote, “VDM really needs to be cautious. This is serious.” Another added, “If the security agencies are giving such warnings, the danger must be real.”
Verydarkman’s choice to refuse protection has stirred debate on social media, with many expressing concern for his safety in the days ahead.
