Joseph Aloba, the father of the late Nigerian singer Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, has stated that the DNA test is the single most important factor determining the next step in his son’s case, which is the final burial.

The statement reaffirms the family’s stance that a conclusive DNA test for Mohbad’s child must be conducted before the singer’s remains can be interred.

Mr. Aloba has been vocal about the necessity of the DNA test amidst the ongoing investigation into his son’s controversial death and the public dispute over the paternity of the child.

He stated clearly that the outcome of the DNA test will dictate when the burial can proceed:

“The DNA test is the most important thing. Once it is done, Mohbad will be buried.”

“Mohbad will be buri€d immediately after the DNA test is done.”
