Nollywood actress and budding politician Tonto Dikeh has appeared to address those mocking her after a video surfaced showing her praying in tongues to welcome the new month.
In her response, Tonto made it clear that nothing will ever stop her from openly sharing the gospel.
This comes after Legit.ng reported that online critic VeryDarkMan reacted to the viral clip, expressing surprise at the actress’ spiritual transformation. He claimed he had sensed a change in her, especially after rumours that she had reversed her BBL. While speaking on her new lifestyle, VDM joked, “God has called her.”
Responding to the criticisms, the mother of one insisted that she will always speak boldly about her faith.
“I would rather be mocked, ridiculed, or even slain than silence the name of the One who saved me. I refuse to hide God to protect my image before mere mortals. If it comes to it, I will wear mockery like perfume and carry reproach like a crown, because He is worth it all. DON’T BE ASHAMED TO CARRY GOD EVERYWHERE. Unapologetically, GOD IS LOOKING FOR SOLDIERS. Soldiers don’t coward. Yours truly, KING TONTO DIKEH (ADA EL-ROI),” she wrote in part.
