Veteran Nigerian musician 2Baba (Innocent Idibia) has directly addressed the intense public concern and media coverage surrounding his marital crisis with his wife, Natasha Osawuru, strongly denying that he posted the recent “Help me” message on his Instagram page.
The singer also criticized the public discourse, stating that it is placing his wife at risk.
Breaking his silence following the viral posts and appeals from his family and former manager, 2Baba released a statement aimed at curbing the escalating public drama.
He confirmed that the recent distress signal did not come from him and insisted that the issues within his marriage will be resolved privately.
2Baba stated:
“This issue is getting out of hand, and you people are putting Natasha on risk. I’m perfectly okay. Someone else posted that on my IG; I’m not the one who posted it. Families do have issues, but we will definitely resolve everything.”
The musician’s reaction confirms that his family is indeed dealing with internal issues, but he stressed that he is “perfectly okay.”
His primary concern appears to be the safety and well-being of his wife, Natasha, who is currently facing public scrutiny and has been summoned by the Edo State House of Assembly over the viral video of their altercation.
