Nigerian music legend 2Face Idibia has addressed recent concerns after an alarming post claiming he was in distress surfaced online.
Earlier, a message supposedly from the singer asking for help circulated on Instagram, causing widespread worry among fans.
In a video shared on his official social media accounts, 2Face reassured the public that he is doing well and denied posting the troubling message.
“This is getting out of hand. It’s a very dangerous situation,” he stated. “I understand fans’ concern, but I am completely fine. This is also putting Natasha at risk. It’s unfair for anyone to go through this kind of stress.”
He appealed to everyone to stop spreading false information and panic, urging calm.
“Please, I need everyone to calm down. We’ll handle these matters. People have personal issues at home, it’s not new. Friends, family, everyone please, cease fire. I am perfectly fine, and I did not post that message.”
The singer also highlighted that the situation is being dealt with privately and asked the public to refrain from making it worse.
Earlier reports indicated that the couple had a confrontation at a shop in London, which reportedly led to 2Face’s brief detention by British police.
