Real Madrid have suffered a fresh injury blow ahead of their LaLiga clash with Celta Vigo on Sunday.
The Los Blancos confirmed in a post via its official website on Thursday that defender Trent Alexander-Arnold has been diagnosed with a muscular injury to the rectus anterior quadriceps in his left leg.
Alexander-Arnold sustained the injury during Real Madrid’s win against Athletic Club yesterday.
Real Madrid Medical Services carried out the tests on the England international.
Alexander-Arnold’s progress and recovery will be monitored by the club and he is expected to miss the Celta Vigo game this weekend.
Alexander-Arnold, who joined Real Madrid from Liverpool during the summer transfer window, could be out of action for the next two months due to the injury.
