Popular Nigerian media personality and comedian, Nedu Wazobia, has publicly shared his disappointment regarding his departure from Wazobia FM, where he worked for over a decade.
Nedu, known for his unique style of humor and vibrant on-air presence, revealed that despite dedicating over 13 years to the radio station, his resignation was met with silence, and he was not accorded a send-off ceremony.
The personality, whose real name is Chinedu Ani Emmanuel, made the disclosure recently while speaking about his career transitions. He lamented the absence of a formal acknowledgment for his long service, stating:
“I worked in Wazobia for 13 years plus and when I resigned, they didn’t even do me a send-forth…”
Nedu’s long tenure at Wazobia FM cemented his status as one of the country’s most recognizable voices in radio.
