Popular skit maker and singer Carter Efe has publicly called out Afrobeats heavyweight Wizkid, accusing him of failing to show support, while openly appreciating Davido for standing by him.
The comments followed Davido’s recent appearance on Carter Efe’s livestream, a gesture that reportedly led to an endorsement deal with luxury beverage brand Martell.
In a video circulating online, Carter Efe drew a clear comparison between Davido’s encouragement and what he described as Wizkid’s lack of interest, stating that he felt let down by the relationship. He alleged that despite the goodwill and efforts he had previously shown toward Wizkid, the singer did not return the favour.
Taking things further, Carter Efe made a bold declaration, insisting that Wizkid would now have to pay a substantial amount to feature on his livestream. He also suggested that the Afrobeats star would eventually regret not offering support at a crucial moment in his journey.
He said …
“Wizkid, this is Davido showing me love, after everything I’ve done for you, you still pour me spit. Wizkid I’ll charge you ₦1 billion to come on my livestream. You go regret why you no support me.”
