Akwa United head coach, Paul Offor, has urged his players to be battle ready for the clash against First Bank.

The Promise Keepers will be up against First Bank FC in a matchday seven fixture at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena in Onikan on Monday (today).

Offor pointed that commitment and efficiency in front of goal would be key in the game.

“This is a very crucial match for us and we must not take it lightly. We have to be ready for anything because this will be a tough game,” Offor told Akwa United’s media.

“We understand our challenges, particularly in converting chances. We have to be more intentional in our approach, not just in this match but in all our games.”

Akwa United occupy fourth position in Conference B.
