Mr Hassan Husseini, a dedicated outrider to the President of the Senate, Godswill Akpabio, has d!ed in a road accident.

Husseini d!ed on Sunday, December 21, 2025 while travelling from Lagos to Ibadan to receive the Senate President.

He was reportedly crushed to d3ath after a vehicle collided with his motorcycle.

Husseini, who hailed from Kogi State, was due to retire from service around February 2026.

According to a motion moved on the floor of the Senate in Abuja on Tuesday by the Senator representing Kogi West, Sunday Karimi, the late outrider is survived by his widow and four children.

“A careless driver crushed him. He was married with four children,” Karimi told his colleagues.

Before the formal motion was moved, the Senate President had earlier informed the chamber of Husseini’s d3ath, disclosing that he was buried on Tuesday morning.

Akpabio recommended the employment of two of the deceased’s children in government parastatals, adding that in the absence of vacancies, they could be engaged in any of his private concerns.
