Suspected herdsmen have k!lled five young men in a violent attack on Ortese community in Guma Local Government Area of Benue State.

It was gathered that the attackers blocked the Ortese–Yogbo road during the assault, k!lling the victims on the spot, while several others were allegedly abducted and taken to unknown locations.

The incident has thrown the community into tension, with residents living in fear as authorities investigate the attack.

Sources say more bodies are still being discovered in the area, heightening anxiety among locals.

Security agencies are yet to issue an official statement on the incident as efforts continue to restore calm in the affected community.
