Super Eagles head coach, Eric Chelle, is considering a formation change for his team’s encounter against Tunisia, NEWSUNPLUG reports.

Chelle is widely noted for his preference for the diamond 4-4-2 formation.

The Super Eagles started with the formation in their 2-1 victory over the Taifa Stars of Tanzania on Tuesday.

The West Africans switched to a more familiar 4-3-3 formation in the second half.

Although Nigeria dominated the game, and should have scored more goals, they struggled at the back, with the midfielders failing to protect the defence.

Chelle admitted after the game that he made some wrong choices.

The gaffer is now ready to alter his game plan for the Tunisian game.

“In my mind I have two options. The first is maybe to let Tunisia have the ball or when we get the ball back we go direct or we continue with our philosophy,” Chelle said at his press conference on Friday.
