Super Eagles player Akor Adams has spoken about the disagreement that happened between Victor Osimhen and Ademola Lookman during their knockout match against Mozambique.
Adams scored a goal as the Super Eagles defeated Mozambique 4-0 in the Round of sixteen at the Africa Cup of Nations on Monday.
His comments showed how friendly and united the team was, which helped Nigeria do well in the game.
The game itself showed off the Super Eagles’ good attacking skills and calm play.
Ademola Lookman scored the first goal in the 20th minute, and then Victor Osimhen soon scored his first goal of the match.
Osimhen added another goal in the second half, and Adams scored the final goal in the 75th minute, helping Nigeria win easily.
Nigeria’s 4-0 win was their first time keeping a clean sheet in the tournament, and it showed they are really capable of winning the title.
At one point during the game, Osimhen and Lookman had a disagreement and were seen arguing, drawing attention from fans.
Adams said to the reporters, “Victor played really well in the game.” Lookman had a fantastic game. We won the match and are happy about it.”
The team is now waiting to see who wins the Algeria versus DR Congo knockout game in Marrakech, hoping to continue their perfect start in Morocco.
