Patrick Bassey has been unveiled as the new technical adviser of Nigeria National League, NNL, side Yobe Desert Stars.
Yobe Desert Stars unveiled the new tactician in a brief ceremony at their headquarters.
Bassey managed Ranchers Bees at the start of the 2025-26 NNL season.
He left the Kaduna-based club after just three games into the season.
Bassey cited interference from the club’s hierarchy for his decision to resign from the post.
Yobe Desert Stars are sixth on the NNL Conference D table with nine points.
