Social media influencer Jarvis broke down in tears as she opened up about her mother’s ongoing health challenges, describing the situation as her current reality.
The TikTok star shared the emotional update during a livestream with her followers, revealing that her mother is battling an undisclosed medical condition.
She explained that the issue is not something money alone can fix, adding that she is relying on God, faith, and hope to get through the difficult period.
Jarvis also expressed fear that people might try to record her mother and ridicule her online, noting that such actions deeply worry her.
In addition, she disclosed that her father has been absent from her life, forcing her to search for him on her own. She revealed that he is Senegalese and stopped contacting her when she was still a child, adding that she is concerned her mother’s illness could be turned into social media content or used against her.
“My mum is sick, and that’s my reality right now. This isn’t something money can fix. My father has been absent, and I’ve been the one searching for him. I’m scared social media would use my mother’s condition into content or use it against me,” she said in part.
