Niger Tornadoes have completed the signing of midfielder Ibrahim Abubakar ahead of the second stanza of the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, season.

The Ikon Allah Boys announced Abubakar’s arrival at an unveiling ceremony in Minna.

Abubakar joined Niger Tornadoes from NPFL champions, Remo Stars on a two-year contract.

“Signed, stamped and sealed, Former Remo Stars right back Abubakar Ibrahim (Babawo Pele) has put pen to paper with the Ikon Allah Boys in what promises to be an eventful reunion.” Niger Tornadoes stated after the unveiling.

Abubakar helped the Sky Blue Stars clinch their first-ever NPFL title last season.

The 25-year-old previously played for Plateau United.
