President of the Cameroonian Football Federation, Samuel Eto’o has sent a message of ‘love’ to head coach of Indomitable Lions David Pagou after the team’s 2-0 defeat to Morocco in Friday’s 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON, quarter-final tie.

Cameroon failed to qualify for the AFCON last-4 after losing to the host nation at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat.

Brahim Diaz and Ismael Saibari netted the goals for the Atlas Lions against Pagou’s side.

Following the game, Eto’o took to his Instagram account to express love and support for Pagou.

The former Chelsea, Inter Milan and Barcelona striker posted a picture of Pagou during his press conference with the caption: “Only love.”

Meanwhile, Pagou had suggested why his team was defeated by Morocco.

In his post-match interview, the 56-year-old noted that the second goal conceded by Cameroon proved crucial.
