Alex Iwobi will make his 97th appearance for the Super Eagles against the Atlas Lions of Morocco on Wednesday (today), NEWSUNPLUG reports.

A further three appearances will see the Fulham of England star become the third most capped Super Eagles player.

Ahmed Musa holds the record of the most capped Nigerian footballer with 111 appearances.

Vincent Enyeama and Joseph Yobo are tied on 101.

Iwobi has been one of the top performers for the Super Eagles in Morocco.

The 29-year-old made his debut for the three-time African champions against the Democratic Republic of Congo in a friendly in Belgium on 8th October 2015.
