Nigerian singer Qudus Fakoya Oluwadamilarelisten, popularly known as Qdot, is still dealing with the trauma from his 2025 robbery.
Newsunplug reported in September last year that the singer was robbed at gunpoint in his home around 2:30am. He said the assailants made away with his phones, laptops, and emptied his bank accounts. The robbers also seized control of his social media accounts.

Five months after the incident, the singer, via his Twitter page, revealed that the trauma of the incident is still with me. He said he wakes up every night at 2:30 am in fear and can’t sleep peacefully.
Qdot prayed for healing and peace, and called for stronger government action so that his suffering could end.
“28 of Sept OUT NOW
Even though September 28 has passed, the trauma is still with me. I wake up every night at 2:30 a.m. in fear and can no longer sleep peacefully. I pray for healing and peace, and for stronger government action so this suffering can finally end @followlasg @CruLagospolice @LagosPoliceNG”.

Qdot isn’t the only celebrity who has encountered robbers.
Popular actor, Hafeez Oyetoro, aka Saka, had, in an interview, said he was still traumatised by the robbery attack on his apartment in Isheri, a community straddling Lagos and Ogun states. He said that the robbers came around 2:50am, and they brought their own equipment to cut through the burglar-proof in the house, and carried sophisticated guns.
