A man was st@bbed to de@th just days before his wedding.

Godwin Ojiji’s last Facebook post was shared on Dec. 16. It was an invitation to his wedding on Jan. 18 and Jan. 19, 2026.

He also included pre-wedding photos of him and his bride-to-be.

Just days before his wedding, he was “stabbed at the entrance of his home by an unidentified person,” the brother of the bride-to-be disclosed on Facebook.

Unfortunately,  he did not survive.

The man whose sister was supposed to marry the deceased wrote on Facebook: “This heartbreaking event has left my younger sister a widow. Hearing about such incidents always felt distant, like a story, but now it has touched my life directly, leaving my sister and their two children in a state of profound grief.”

Friends of the deceased have gone on Facbook to mourn him.
