Reality TV personality Phyna had a tense encounter with a police officer after being stopped on a Nigerian road.
She questioned the legitimacy of the stop, insisting that officers should not randomly block vehicles without following proper procedure. Phyna stressed that law enforcement should park appropriately before carrying out any checks.
Speaking out as a public figure, she challenged the officer’s approach, demanding an explanation for why she was being stopped. She described the incident as “wrong and unacceptable” and threatened to escalate the matter to higher police authorities.
Phyna also advised her driver to remain calm and avoid confrontation, focusing instead on addressing the officer’s unprofessional conduct.
She stated: “Oga, I am a celebrity. How dare you stop me and say what you said? In the middle of the road, police in Nigeria will now just pick a random car and stop it. I’ve never heard of this before. Police need to park properly before stopping a vehicle. You’re not allowed to stop like this.”
