Arsenal midfielder, Ethan Nwaneri, has agreed to move to Marseille on a loan deal until the end of the current season.
Both clubs have already reached an agreement over a fee, and the transfer is expected to be officially confirmed soon.
It represents a u-turn for Nwaneri, who was not expected to go out on loan this season.
Both Arsenal and the player thought it would be best for the 18-year-old being around the squad.
However, the opportunity to play regularly in a different league and country has appealed to Nwaneri.
Nwaneri has only played 12 games for Arsenal in all competitions, starting four of them and his only goal came in the Carabao Cup.
He recently signed a new contract with Arsenal that runs until 2030.
