Afrobeats star Burna Boy has reacted after being dragged into the ongoing online controversy involving Wizkid and Seun Kuti, firing a series of pointed remarks that have further intensified the saga.
In a strongly worded post, Burna Boy dismissed attempts to rope him into what he described as manufactured controversies, stating that no major online dispute seems complete without his name being mentioned. He also took aim at comparisons involving Afrobeat pioneer Fela Anikulapo Kuti, stressing that Fela was in a league of his own and should not be loosely compared to contemporary artistes.
Burna Boy further made a cryptic reference to Wizkid’s association with embattled American music executive Diddy, questioning the nature of those visits. He suggested that he would not remain silent on the issue, hinting that he was prepared to respond directly if the situation escalated.
Ending his message on a warning note, the Grammy-winning singer hinted at his temperament, suggesting that he would not tolerate further provocation.
