American streamer IShowSpeed has once again captured attention online following his recent visit to Nigeria as part of his African tour.
According to Newsunplug, the US-based content creator met Nigerian influencer Jarvis in Lagos on Wednesday during his Speed Does Africa livestream series, though the exact date of the encounter was not mentioned.
The trip was also notable as it coincided with a major personal milestone: IShowSpeed, whose real name is Darren Jason Watkins Jr., reached 50 million subscribers on his 21st birthday.
In popular footage from the event, Watkins was seen hanging out with Jarvis, who sported his trademark robot outfit. During their meetup, Jarvis taught the streamer the dance routine for the viral track Money Constant.
A clip circulating widely online also captured comedian Carter Efe on a phone call with fellow creator Lord Lamba, discussing the meeting between Jarvis and IShowSpeed. Efe claimed that the streamer planned to take Jarvis to Abuja the next day and that they intended to stay at Transcorp Hotel. Lord Lamba’s reaction was one of surprise, with him audibly screaming in shock during the conversation.
