Nigerian gospel singer Tope Alabi has expressed joy following the birth of her first grandchild.
Newsunplug reported on Friday that the daughter of the gospel singer, Ayomiku, and her husband had welcomed their first child, a baby girl.
The singer’s daughter shared the good news on her Instagram page, posting photos from her maternity shoot and another of her and her husband holding their bundle of joy.

Sharing a photo of herself and the newborn, Tope expressed gratitude to God for the joyful addition to her family. She also expressed how proud she is of her daughter, who she described as a beautiful and strong girl.

The popular singer said she has dreamt of holding her grandchild for so long, and she is showering her with kisses as she watches her grow. Tope said being her grandma is her new favourite role.
