Olakunle Churchill, the ex-husband of Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh, has broken his silence following her heartfelt apology.

Newsunplug reported hours ago that Dikeh revealed that after ten years of public battles, deep wounds, broken communication, bitterness, and pain, God stepped in between her and Churchill. Dikeh expressed gratitude to Churchill for yielding to God’s word and choosing peace, and prayed that their restored relationship remain built on the solid rock of God’s mercy.

Sharing photos of Tonto and their son on his Instagram page, he said he was pleasantly surprised when he received a call from his son, King Andre, for the first time. Churchill said hearing him call “Daddy” was deeply touching and a reminder that what God can’t do doesn’t exist.

The businessman expressed gratitude to Tonto, calling her the amazing mother of his son for doing a good job. He expressed gratitude for the journey they’ve been on and the growth they’ve experienced, and looks forward to a future filled with collaboration, respect, and peace.

“I was pleasantly surprised when I received a call from my son, King Andre, for the first time. Hearing him call me “Daddy” was deeply touching and a reminder that what God cannot do does not exist.

Faith has a way of bringing clarity, humility and peace. I acknowledge the growth and grace evident in the manner in which this matter has been resolved.

With God leading, healing and understanding have become possible. Forgiveness has paved the way for a new chapter, and we are moving forward with a sense of peace and mutual respect. The conflict is behind us, and we are now focused on co-parenting with love, care, and a shared commitment to raising our son.

I am grateful for the journey we’ve been on and the growth we’ve experienced, and I look forward to a future filled with collaboration, respect, and peace, trusting God to guide me. I am grateful to have my son back in my life. Thank you to the amazing mother of my son, Tonto Dikeh, for doing a good job”.

Refreshing your memory, Tonto got married to Churchill in 2015, but like most marriages, it ended after two years.

Tonto cited domestic violence and irreconcilable differences, which, Churchill publicly denied.
