Nasarawa United technical adviser, Mbwas Mangut, has praised goalkeeper Darlington Ovunda for his performance in the win over Abia Warriors.
Ovunda was instrumental in the Solid Miners 2-1 win over Abia Warriors at the Umuahia Township Stadium on Sunday.
The shot-stopper’s performance earned him the Man-of-the-Match award.
Mangut insisted that the goalkeeper’s performance proved decisive in the victory.
“All the players had a great game, including the goalkeeper, Darlington Ovunda who was quite exceptional as he has always been,” Mangut
“I must give him credit for the massive saves he made today which proved decisive in our win today.”
Nasarawa United moved up to second position in the league table with 37 points following the win.
