Nigerian singer Ceeza Milli has revealed that he went to jail at some point in his career.

The singer, who did not disclose what led to his imprisonment, said the experience affected him psychologically.

“I went through a depressive stage, I went to jail. I suffered in Nigerian prison,” he stated in a recent interview with Yanga FM Lagos.

Milli said he still trying to fully recover health wise.

He, however, explained that he is only working on losing weight for health reasons and not because of Internet trolls.

He added that he is not bothered about critics and trolls.

Ceeza Milli expressed gratitude to his colleague Wizkid for collaborating with him years ago and boosting his career.

He noted that Wizkid couldn’t have done more for him because he had active deal with record label then.

“Wizkid tried for me, he gave me collaborations that made me feed my family,” the singer stated.
