Ex-Manchester City midfielder, Michael Brown, has tipped the former Premier League champions to win the Champions League this season.
Pep Guardiola’s men confirmed automatic qualification for the Round of 16 with a comfortable 2-0 win over Galatasaray on Wednesday.
Erling Haaland and Ryan Cherki both scored in the first half as City romped to victory at the Etihad.
Brown believes that the team has become stronger with the January signings of Antoine Semenyo and Marc Guehi.
He told BBC Sport: “I think you have to look at Marc Guehi and Antoine Semenyo joining the squad, that’s definitely going to make them stronger.
“With Pep Guardiola, with some of these players, you’ve got to fancy them.”
