Nasarawa United Chairman, Solomon Babanjah, has expressed missed feelings over the departure of forward Anas Yusuf.
Babanjah described Yusuf as a great player who helped the Solid Miners achieve a lot of successes.
NEWSUNPLUG reports that Yusuf won the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, top scorer award last season.
He left Nasarawa United to join Algerian side JS Saoura last week.
“Even though we are greatly proud of the incredible contributions he has given to our team, particularly his legendary goalscoring ability and unmatched team spirit, we will sorely miss him,” Babanjah told Nasarawa United media.
“As a team, we did all we could to keep him till the end of the present season, but we realized that he needed to push his career forward, and we are glad that he chose the right destination to continue his development.
“We wish him all the best in his new club, and I want to assure him that he remains an integral part of our Club.”
