Former Arsenal star, Paul Merson has insisted that Chelsea won’t qualify for the UEFA Champions League if they fail to win their next three Premier League matches.

Merson stated this during a recent interview with Sportskeeda ahead of Chelsea’s Premier League match with Wolves on Saturday.

Chelsea’s next three Premier League matches are against Wolves, Leeds United and Burnley.

The Blues currently sit in fifth position on the Premier League standings after 24 matches.

“I have not seen a run like that in my life. If Arsenal had this run of fixtures, I would be worried about them winning the league,” Merson said.

“That is why I think if Chelsea don’t win their next three, they won’t qualify for the Champions League next season.”
