Cole Palmer was the centre of attraction in the Premier League game between Chelsea and Wolves at the Molineux on Saturday, February 6, 2026, where he took over John Terry’s record.

The English midfielder scored a hat-trick of goals in the first half of the game against Wolves. This feat saw him become the Cole Palmer player in Premier League history to score three hat-tricks in the first half of a match (also vs Everton and Brighton).

The three goals also took his goal tally for Chelsea in the Premier League to 42, which is one goal above the club’s legend, John Terry, who scored 41 goals during his time as a Chelsea player.

He has more Premier League hat-tricks for Chelsea than any other player in the club’s history. This feat saw him surpass Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink and Eden Hazard’s 3 each since Chelsea’s entry into the league in 1992.

Palmer has been one of the top-notch players for Chelsea since he completed his move from Manchester City on the final day of the 2024 summer window.
