Saudi media personality Waleed Al-Faraj, has slammed superstar player, Cristiano Ronaldo, following his strike against the sponsors of the top clubs in the Professional League

The Portuguese superstar has missed two League games as he continues his strike.

Al-Faraj said the Knights of Najd won’t go on their knees to ask Ronaldo to come back, and they’ll remain a strong team even without the Portuguese star.

This is against the position of Al-Nassr fans who are standing with the 41-year-old, making their feelings known during a protest in Al-Nassr’s 2-0 win over Al-Ittihad.

On the TV show “Action with Waleed,” Al-Faraj, as reported by Kooora, said, “We will not bow down for the player. Are we going to beg him? Our country and our league are more important than any single player, and Al-Nassr Club has always been, and will always be, a top club whether or not Ronaldo is there.”

Ronaldo has been very important for Al-Aalami this season, scoring 18 goals and providing three assists in 22 matches across all competitions.

However, they have done well without Ronaldo in the last two matches and are now just one point behind Al-Hilal, who are top of the league.
